"Les Voiles de Saint-Barth" is celebrating its 7th edition this year with the participation of big names in sailing. The show on water and on land should keep all its promises!

Created in 2010 by two long-time friends: François Tolède, Director of the organization and Luc Poupon, Race director, the event then included around twenty boats and an exceptional sponsor, the famous photographer Patrick Demarchelier…

With a simple and effective guideline: competitiveness on the water and conviviality on land, Les Voiles de Saint Barth has never ceased to attract sailors from all over the world, going from 28 boats registered in 2010 to almost 70 during the latest edition.

More than 80 boats are expected for this 2016 edition with big names in sailing among its participants, such as the French Lionel Péan, Loic Peyron, Marc Guillemot or Bertrand De Broc and internationally: Ken Read, Cam Lewis, Terry Hutchinson…

All in all, nearly 1 sailors of more than 200 different nationalities come together for 20 days of intense competition, in a festive and friendly atmosphere on the neighboring island of Saint-Barthélemy. The party will be in full swing on Sunday evening!  _AF
