During the 2nd week of the Easter holidays, 15 young TCISM participated in the 8th edition of the Saint-Barth Kid's Trophy in different age categories from 7 to 16 years old.
The “reds” tournament (7 years old) brought together 24 participants on Tuesday with the participation of Marylou Lebrun, Nolan Kreiss, Pierre Assier from Pompignan, Jude Gallis and Zach Colette from TCISM. The day gave place to many matches on a format of group organization then of tables with direct eliminations. Marylou, Nolan and Pierre went until the semi-final and Zach and Jude also behaved very well.
The “green” tournament (9/10 years old) was organized in the same way from Wednesday to Friday with good results for Danerick Bosqui and Ianoda Labylle who notably won group matches against league coaches from Guadeloupe and Martinique before losing at the 1/4 final stage, Danerick against Maxime Rigaud (Martinique), winner of the tournament and Ianoda against Adryan Ballestero (St-Barth).
For older children, the tournament took place from Monday to Friday in the 11/14 and 15/16 age categories. Camille Robec, Anthony Hutterer, Gershom Charles, Wissem Khalfaoui, Morai Smits, Axel Limbergere, Ugo Lemoine and Erwan Siffer represented the club's colors throughout this week of competition with notably a place as a finalist for Camille and several victories at 30/1 for Wissem and Gershom.
The tournament was very enriching in terms of exchanges with the delegations of Ligues de Guadeloupe, Martinique and Val de Marne in the small age categories. It allows you to take benchmarks on the best regional levels and thus set goals to reach for the young people of the club._AF
