The president, Daniel Gibbs signed, last Friday, a multi-year framework agreement of objectives and means, with the President of the Interprofessional Chamber of Saint Martin (CCISM), Angèle Dormoy.
This three-year agreement, ratified by the Executive Council on November 6, sets the framework for the contract of objectives between the COM and the CCISM, amounting for the first year to a subsidy of € 350.
Each year, on the basis of this agreement, the Community and the CCISM conclude an annual application agreement defining the resources granted to the CCISM, the actions for the year of the latter and the projects carried out in partnership with the Community. In addition, the Collectivity and the CCISM have decided to jointly develop a program of partnership actions in favor of the economic development of Saint-Martin.
To meet the major economic challenges of the territory, the CCISM has, indeed, vocation to bring to the companies the accompaniment which they need, to ensure their creation and their development. It supports public policies intended to promote growth and employment in the region.
Aware of its financial difficulties and the recommendations of the Territorial Chamber of Accounts, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin decided to provide significant financial support to the CCISM to enable it to operate and continue its service missions with Saint-Martin businesses -Martin.
