Pending the reopening of the Albéric Richards stadium scheduled for late November, the Saint-Martin League launched the 2016-2017 season with “foot animation”.
Young aspiring footballers have therefore found their way back to the pitch with the program for this start of the school year: a board organized in Grand-Case by the club of United Stars for the U7-U9 categories.
The players of each club were really impatient to meet again to “kick” the ball!
As for the U 11 and U 13 categories, several matches were scheduled over the weekend at the Raoul Illidge stadium. Unfortunately, only one of the four matches scheduled for the U 13 took place, Risc Takers and United Stars leaving on a zero and blank score.
Among the U 11s, United Stars "B" won a short header at the expense of Saint-Louis Stars on the grounds of the Cité Scolaire (1-0).
Hopefully young footballers, all categories combined, will finally be able to evolve with their favorite team from next weekend! _AF
