Pride was as great as the emotion at the school city on Friday evening during the graduation ceremony of the diploma of the diploma of higher technician (BTS) management / accounting and management of PME-PMI to twenty-three young people. Pride and emotion were all the more palpable since it was the first promotion of this new diploma created two years ago in Saint-Martin.
“This BTS is an incredible story! The reflection to create a BTS lasted a certain number of years because in particular one wondered if there was a breeding ground, commented Mostafa Fourar.
Marlène Borel, the principal, underlined the “success” of the students, their motivation and their “determination to go all the way” despite the obstacles; the first having been the passage of Irma at the time of the start of the school year in 2017 which generated difficult working conditions.
Annick Petrus, third vice-president in charge of school affairs at the COM, also insisted on “the role and support of parents in the success” of their children.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to reward the four major graduates.
