Education: Award of exceptional mobility aid to high school and university students

As part of the allocation of exceptional mobility aid paid to high school students and students following the passage of Hurricane IRMA, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin asks the legal representatives to come to the School Affairs Department ( Scholarship unit), between May 22 and 29, 2018, in order to sign the agreement and the becoming form.

The legal representative must bring a copy of his identity document - in the event that the latter is represented by a third person, this person must have a power of attorney.

In accordance with the regulations, the exceptional aid will be paid in two installments:

• 70% upon signature of the exceptional aid agreement in the light of the deliberations of the Executive Council validating the allocation of aid and on presentation of a schooling certificate;

• The balance of 30% will be paid to you after receipt by the Community of supporting documents:

- For students: certificate of attendance in progress throughout the school year and / or results of end-of-year exams (diploma, transcripts, status form, certificate of repetition or deferment.

- For high school students: school reports for the 2nd and 3rd trimester, by July 31, 2018 at the latest.

The exceptional mobility aid paid to high school students and students following the passage of Hurricane IRMA is co-financed at 85% by the European Social Fund and at 15% by the Collectivity of Saint Martin.
