CULTURE & TRAINING: The Local Mission of Saint Martin gets a makeover

0

The Wall Art St Martin collective, which aims to bring the island back to life through color and frescoes, also sometimes invites itself inside. This time, it was in the premises of the Local Mission that the magic worked thanks to the excessive talent of Lily Hinckfoot @lilysnotanartist.

The artist succeeded in sublimating the place by proposing frescoes and illustrations according to the themes of the place, with colors sometimes bright sometimes pastels, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. The lines are fine, the drawings remarkable. This long-awaited local mission is a tool entirely dedicated to young people, a place where young people aged 16 to 25 can talk about orientation, training, employment, housing, health, mobility, citizenship, sports, leisure, culture and support to help them solve the difficulties they may encounter in their social and professional integration and give them access to the systems put in place for them. The places had to reflect modernity and invite creativity.

Several motivational messages slip in here and there, including one that sums up the importance of a place like the Local Mission: “The first step is to say that you can. ". The Wall Art St Martin collective thanks Maggy Gumbs for her total confidence in this interior embellishment project. The team has outdone itself because the result is great. _VX
