Paris attacks: the victims' solidarity tourist office

0

Yesterday, the management committee of the Tourist Office of Saint-Martin, the staff and the president Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool sent a sincere condolence to the families and friends of the victims of the attacks of November 13.

"Today France is crying and as French citizens, we support Paris and its inhabitants because it's attack is a direct threat to all of us. Many of us have lived or studied in Europe. The fear we felt while following the media is indescribable. We pray for their safety and well-being. "

Vigilance is essential

“One point that was raised during the events of this sad Friday November 13 is that as individuals and as governments, it is necessary for us to be more vigilant. This is a wake-up call for all of us who travel and have family members outside of Saint-Martin or who are in the tourism industry. They clearly highlight the fact that we cannot be complacent and that the measures to protect both our population and our visitors who arrive on our shores must be constantly reviewed and improved. Long live Paris! Long live the Republic! Long live Saint-Martin!
