There is now an anonymous number dedicated to questions relating to sexuality, contraception and voluntary termination of pregnancy (abortion). The Regional Health Agency (ARS) has announced the launch of the telephone listening platform “Sexuality, contraception, IGV” with the following toll-free number: 0800 08 11 11. “Everyone, in Guadeloupe, in Saint-Martin and in Saint-Barthélemy, can now find an answer to his questions by dialing a completely free telephone number (…) available from 09 am to 15 pm ”, indicates the ARS recalling certain figures on abortion. “The annual rate of abortion is greater than 37 abortions per 1000 women of childbearing age in our territory (…); that is to say more than 2.5 times higher than that of France ”, specifies the agency.
