The second plenary meeting of the Observatory of International Tourist Zones (ZTI) - created by law for growth, activity, and equal economic opportunities - was held earlier this month in Paris. Martine Pinville, Secretary of State for Trade, Crafts and Consumption, co-chaired this meeting with Myriam El Khomri, Minister of Labor. The government has announced that it is studying the possible creation of two new ZTIs: for Saint-Martin and Arcachon. The classification request file for our territory was submitted to the Minister at the end of 2016.
