Marisol Touraine, the Minister of Health, confirmed last Saturday the first case of transmission of the Zika virus by sexual means in mainland France. It is a woman who was infected by her partner returning from a stay in Brazil, the country most affected by the epidemic with nearly 1,5 million people infected.
