Zika: 20 biologically confirmed cases

According to the latest epidemiological bulletin from the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS), 20 cases of Zika have been biologically confirmed in Saint-Martin, including one pregnant woman. Clinically suggestive cases are still under surveillance: 129 consultations were recorded. In week 9, the first two emergency visits to Zika were suspected, the institute said. Since the end of January, Saint-Martin has been at level 2 of the surveillance, alert and epidemic management program (PSAGE): "Native beginner viral circulation". In Saint-Barthélemy, no case of biologically confirmed Zika has been identified.
