Educational trip to Saint Lucia: “An unforgettable adventure”

0

After months of preparation, the 4th 11 class from Mont des Accords college flew in mid-May to Saint Lucia. “The students loved this enriching experience. For a week, they opened up to the outside world and of course improved their knowledge of English. The return was difficult, because they became very attached to their correspondents! ”, Explains Juliane Guirouard-Aizee, English teacher at the initiative of this interdisciplinary project, supported by several colleagues. In Castrie, 21 students, accompanied by four teachers, were thus welcomed by their counterparts from the George Charles school. “The class discovered a very different school system from ours,” she explains. Several excursions were on the program, including a visit to the Soufrière region, the capital Castries and Pigeon Island. To thank the various sponsors, the students produced a report - complete with photos and videos - recently presented to the Mont des Accords college. _EH
