As part of the Miss Islands of Saint Barthélemy and Saint-Martin election, a delegation from the Miss France committee visited Saint Martin from July 11 to 14, 2018. The purpose of this visit was to enhance the image of the islands hit by cyclone Irma and to show to the national press, present for the occasion, the tourist attraction of the Northern Islands.
On Friday July 13, the Miss France committee responded favorably to the invitation from the Marigot brigade community. Thus the delegation composed of Miss France 2018, Maëva Coucke, Miss Corse (1st Dauphine) - Miss Ile-de-France (2nd Dauphine) - Miss Champagne-Ardennes (3rd Dauphine) - Miss Réunion (4th Dauphine) and Miss Îles du Nord , visited the premises of the Gendarmerie and was able to speak at length with the soldiers and their families.
