School Life: School kits given to students from the Northern Islands!

0

On Wednesday February 7, at the Marie-Amélie Leydet school, the association "Solidarité Laïque" and the partner "MAIF" handed over several school kits for young schoolchildren in the Northern Islands.

Since 1956, “Solidarité Laïque” has been fighting exclusion and improving access for all to quality education.

As a reminder, the association represents a collective of 50 organizations linked to public school, popular education and the social and solidarity economy. It is recognized as being of public utility and benefits from the “Donation in confidence” label of the charter committee.

To carry out this mission in Saint-Martin, the association “Solidarité Laïque” was able to count on the help of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin and the services of National Education of the Northern Islands.

“Solidarité Laïque” also distributed 30 school kits in two classes of the Aline Hanson school, represented by Yasmine Sadji and the audiovisual project manager, Marcus Onalundula. _AF
