Mgr Jean-Michel Di Falco, former bishop of Gap and Embrun, creator of the musical group "The Priests", was present at the Nativity weekend in the Northern Islands affected by Hurricane Irma.

“When I learned of the damage linked to Irma on Saint-Martin, I called Jean-Yves Riocreux, bishop of Guadeloupe. We have always known each other. I asked the group "The Priests" for their opinion, which immediately gave their consent. I am therefore carrying a check to support the Saint-Martinois affected by hurricanes ”, underlined Mgr Jean-Michel Di Falco. He donated a check in the amount of 100 euros in support of the hurricane victims. He celebrated two masses: Christmas mass, on Sunday, in the church of Marigot, then the next day, in Grand-Case, a district very hard hit by hurricane Irma.

The former bishop of Gap and Embrun also went to the sister island of Saint-Barthélemy to meditate on the grave of Johnny Halliday ”. The last time I saw Johnny Hallyday was at Mireille Darc's funeral. We talked for a while. There I will bow and pray at his grave. ", he added.
