As the holidays approach, the Collectivity and its elected officials organize a large distribution of Christmas gifts for the most disadvantaged.
Thus, last Friday, the President, Daniel Gibbs, his First Vice-President, Valérie Damaseau, the Territorial Councilor, Yolande Sylvestre, the teams of the Human Development Delegation and the Director of the Tourist Office, Aida Weinum, submitted gifts to the social assistance for children of the Solidarity and Families delegation of the Collectivity represented by the vice-president, Sofia Carti and the elected, Maud Gibs.
The distribution continued with the association of Lolo's du Front de Mer de Marigot, the Manteau de Saint-Martin, the Territorial Youth Council and the District Council number 1.
This week, many more gifts will be distributed to Ward Councils 2, 3 and 4.
The objective of this operation, at the initiative of the Human Development delegation, is to reach all neighborhoods and allow families in need to offer gifts to their children for Christmas.
The amount of the operation is € 24784 for 1000 gifts distributed. The Tourist Office is also a partner of the system.
