ASSOCIATIVE LIFE: Webinar between the Fondation de France and the associations of Saint-Martin

0

On Thursday, September 22, an online conference was held by the Fondation de France, the Collectivity and the associations of Saint-Martin to present all the aid and support programs made available. Second part of our article published last Friday.

After a focus on the mental health of young people and families, sports associations were particularly attentive to the presentation by Tristan Thomas “Sport Femmes Santé”. This program makes it possible to build a path of reintegration for women in difficulty with sport as a tool for reclaiming the body and self-confidence. From the beginning of 2023, the FDF intends to expand its sports health component to other pathologies. Anna Ghiraldini continued with Déclics Jeunes, a program for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 which has already supported 1.000 young people, at the rate of 20 to 30 young people per year. Whether through the allocation of a grant (between €3.000 and €8.000) or the means to carry out a project of general interest, the FDF accompanies young people who bring hope for a fairer society.

The Saint-Martin associations can serve as a link between the FDF and their young people whose talent is just waiting to shine. Examples of Déclics Jeunes projects: a play to raise awareness about breast cancer or setting up a start-up to recover unsold bakery products to put them back into the food circuit. All new ideas are welcome and it is known that young people from Saint-Martin have plenty of them. The webinar continued with the intervention of Laurianne Léger who, step by step, guided the participants in the steps to submit a project on the site of the Fondation de France and reminding associations to contact its department if necessary: projects@fdf.org

Calls for projects open from November 30, 2022 to February 1, 2023, with pre-selection in February-March 2023 and the final selection in June 2023. The Fondation de France is 10.600 projects funded in 2021 for 197 million euros, with the 945 hosted foundations which represent another possibility of financing for Saint-Martin associations. _VX
