An earthquake felt in Saint Martin

A strong earthquake of magnitude 6 on the Richter scale was recorded last Saturday at 7:26 am, and identified of tectonic origin, according to the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Guadeloupe (OVSG). The epicenter was located 192 km north-northeast of Anse-Bertrand, 9 km deep. This earthquake was felt in Saint-Martin, according to the prefecture specifying that no risk of tsunami was reported for the Northern Islands.
