A member of the Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) was arrested on Wednesday August 17, 2022 following a complaint filed for alleged sexual assault.
The victims reported the incident to the police and immediately filed a complaint. Following this report, KPSM detectives carried out a thorough preliminary investigation into the case which then led to the arrest of the police officer concerned by officers from the National Detective Agency of Sint Maarten (landsrecherche). This case is now in the hands of the National Detectives. As the investigation for alleged sexual assault is ongoing, no further information is available at this time. _VX
