A motorist victim of an armed robbery at the Savannah

1

Last Monday, around 22 p.m., a Saint-Martin resident, well known in the aviation industry, was the victim of an armed robbery near his home.

At the entrance of his residence, a branch across the path obstructs his passage. Without being suspicious, he then gets out of his car to remove it.

From there, an individual, helmeted and in possession of a handgun, forces his victim to empty his pockets, speaking in good local English.

Before leaving the premises with a meager booty, his attacker strikes him with a violent blow on the face.

Shocked, the victim went to the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital for treatment (note: several stitches in the arch).

In this chaotic period, caution is advised: do not stop if the road is blocked by light obstacles. The criminals, thugs and others very often use this same operating mode to commit their misdeeds. Clearly, avoid stopping in dark and deserted places. No one is immune to this kind of aggression, this is proof! _AF
