The Collectivity of Saint-Martin has completed the road repair program (public contract 2021/2022). The last phase of work began in November 2022 and was completed in mid-January 2023.
The following axes have been renovated:
– RN7 – Baie-Rouge axis / Entrance to Sandy Ground
– Rue Saint-James and portion of Rue Low-Town (Marigot)
– Boulevard de France (Marigot)
– Rue Du Dr Hubert Petit to the marina Fort Louis (Marigot)
– Rue Nana clark in Agrément
– RN7 on the ascent of Morne Valois
– Road to Friar's Bay – rehabilitation in sections
– Part of the RN7 at the entrance to Grand-Case
The roads department is currently working on the ground markings which should be finalized by April 2023.
The Collectivity has drawn up a complete road repair program for the years to come.
Many road users welcome the work carried out by the COM to improve the road network in Saint-Martin. _AF
