In some neighborhoods in the French part, you can see the signs announcing the construction site "underground infrastructure supports FTTX networks" led by Tintamarre. These are civil engineering works for the deployment of fiber optics. At the end of last year, 2 linear meters were laid in Cul de Sac (214 sockets), work continued at the beginning of the year on Grand-Case with 120 m (2 sockets).

At the beginning of May, the teams began to work at Sandy Ground on 2 linear meters corresponding to 522 addresses. Next week, they will begin the deployment, still in this district, of 173 other linear meters which will allow 7 addresses to be connectable to fiber.

This Monday, August 1, a construction site will begin around the Royal Marina, 1 linear meters will have to be installed corresponding to 022 addresses. Since the end of June, another project has been underway in Quartier d'Orléans with the laying of 111 linear meters to serve 5 addresses.

The burial of these telecommunication networks should last until next year. The company Tintamarre, whose two main shareholders are the COM (40%) and the Banque des Territoires (40%), had estimated the total duration of the project at two years.
