0

On Friday February 26, the first site information panels were installed on the edge of the site of the next administrative and judicial city of the Northern Islands.

The Prefect, Serge Gouteyron, will monitor this large-scale project which has seen the light of day, thanks to an investment under the State Recovery Plan, for an amount of 38 million euros.

Located near the current premises of the Prefecture in Concordia, the city will accommodate all the agents of the Prefecture and territorial units, but also the new courthouse and the Vice-Rectorate.

Other information plaques will be placed at the entrance to the future site, providing more details, in particular on the building permit and the partners (project owner, contractors, design and control offices, etc.) .

The first step before the actual start of work will see the intervention of the Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research of Saint-Martin (INRAP).

In the meantime, the entire land will be fenced from next week.

The prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin will regularly conduct progress points in order to inform the population about the progress of this structuring project for the Northern Islands, whose delegated project management is led by the Justice Real Estate Agency (APIJ).
