TRANSPORTATION: Juliana Airport registers 118 flights per week

The management of Juliana International Airport registers an average of 118 flights per week, or 17 per day. Jet Blue and Delta Airlines are the two companies that operate the most flights today with an average of 35 and 33 flights per week respectively. American Airlines operates 21 flights and United airlines 25.

At the regional level, Winair operates 223 flights per week and Saint-Barth Commuter 101.

Airport management has estimated attendance at 2 passengers during peak day (Saturday) this summer according to airline flight schedules. This represents 914 passengers arriving in Sint Maarten on Saturday during the peak period, between 511 p.m. and 13 p.m. and 14 passengers leaving Sint Maarten on Sunday during the peak period, between 620 p.m. and 14 p.m. However, the capacity of the pavilion put into operation in early April is around 15 passengers for arrivals and 200 for departures.
