Deckchairs on the beach: an authorization granted to Grand-Case

0

In November 2015, the majority had presented to the Executive Council a deliberation relating to the prohibition of "any occupation of the public domain of the Grand Case beach (tables, chairs, deckchairs, parasols and stands)".

A second article specified that "no temporary occupation permit (AOT) in the public domain for commercial purposes on the Grand Case beach will be issued by the Collectivity of Saint-Martin". Today, the new majority has taken the opposite decision. It granted an AOT to a restaurateur at Grand Case Beach, who requested it. This authorization is valid for a period of one year for a right of way of 50 square meters. The amount of the fee is set at 600 euros per year. (Photo of illustration.
