The "Dream of Trail" team made up of Olivier, Francis, Gerben, Anne, Sophie, François, Lydia, Félix, Sève and Thierry are training for the Tchimbé Raid in Martinique which will take place on May 5 and 6, a of the most difficult trails and ultra trails in the Caribbean. They will be 5 on the 21 km, "Tchimbé Piton", 4 on the Tchimbé Volcano "of 58 km and Thierry on the ultra trail of 104 km, the famous" Tchimbé Raid ".
To get into this “Legend”, everyone has their motivation, whether it be the pleasure of competition, to run elsewhere than in Saint-Martin, to run in the rainforest and cross its rivers, to go and get the podium or challenge the elements like last year where the paths were only rain and mud. This has earned its reputation as the most difficult edition since its creation in 1997.
A first challenge for some and a recurrence for others like François and Francis, regulars on trails in Guadeloupe and Martinique (Volcano, Trans Martinique, Mythic, Tchimbé Raid etc…) or like Thierry an ultra trailer confirmed who notably participated and finished the Diagonale des Fous in Reunion.
The whole Dream of Trail team will be on the starting line with a smile because the training of Dream Trailers, "it's tough" but also because trail running is first of all fun.
