The Tournesol association was the guest of honor at a charity event recently organized by the Sxm Bleu association of the gendarmerie, announced Tournesol who received 400 euros on this occasion. “It is during such events that we become aware of the daily work carried out by Meiddy Renar, specialist educator, and Elijha, assistant facilitator recognized as disabled worker”, said Tournesol referring to the medico-social pole. The association hopes that this structure will be “a priority in the coming months out of respect for the commitment of its members and the young people received, in view of the enormous potential that these young adults have been able to deliver during this lottery”. The symbolic first stone of this center dedicated to the elderly and disabled was laid in 2015 in La Savane.
