World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on September 27 to raise awareness of the importance of the international community. “Tourism for all: promoting universal accessibility” is the theme chosen in 2016 by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism of Sint Maarten Ingrid Arrindell wanted to speak on this "industry which has become the largest in the world".
