The Saint Martin Tourism Board recently began a strategic collaboration with Curaçao, highlighting the diversity of Saint Martin's tourism offering to professionals and local residents of the neighboring island.
This initiative, led by Grégoire Dumel and Narissa Page, with the participation of Jacqueline Louis from the Sint Maarten Tourism Board, served to strengthen the ties between these two Caribbean destinations. During this engagement, eight of Curaçao’s leading travel agencies, including Mau Asam Travel, BuLaFo, Work To Live Traveling, Maduro Travel, At Travel Exclusive, A1 Travel, Satyam Holidays and Tours, and Ready 2 Go Travel, were consulted. These meetings provided a platform to discuss travel trends, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration. The knowledge and expertise shared by these agencies will play a crucial role in promoting the Friendly Island. From radio interviews with Dolfijn FM to participation in the vibrant Kaya Kaya Festival, the visit also included productive discussions with representatives from the Curaçao Tourism Board. These exchanges served as a springboard to share knowledge and experiences, deepening the understanding of each destination’s tourism products. This collaboration is expected to strengthen partnerships and bring mutual benefits for both SXM and Curaçao. _Vx
