"There will also be an alert module that will send emergency messages to people, especially in the event of a cyclone," adds Daniel Gibbs who hopes to be able to inform a large part of the population more quickly.
Finally, another module is in the process of being finalized. "It will signal malfunctions on the public highway. The person will take a photo and make the declaration via the application and their message will be sent to the department responsible for dealing with the problem, ”he explains. This service should be operational by the end of the year.
The My Saint Martin application is already available for Android smartphones. It is not yet on the Apple store for administrative and legal reasons (data protection) but it should be in the coming days.
