On the initiative of the first vice-president, Valérie Damaseau, an information meeting intended for associations of the territory took place last Wednesday, in partnership with the State services.
Representatives of associations came in numbers to exchange with elected officials from the community and state services and receive information on the support systems available in Saint-Martin.
The objective of this meeting is to communicate practical information and provide support to the associative community which does essential work in the field.
The Community granted in 2019 an amount of € 800 to financial support for associations, through the territorial subsidy.
There are 827 subsidized associations.
Other devices exist to help them and that was the whole purpose of this first COM / STATE information forum.
