The main action of the Lions Club Oualichi throughout the month of August (over 4 consecutive weekends) was the distribution of Covid masks.
Thus, several hundred disposable masks were distributed to doctors and caregivers at the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital, whose stock is dramatically low. The purchases were made with funds collected by the Lions Club Oualichi during various actions carried out in 2019.
In addition, 300 fabric masks were made by club members who distributed them, in three installments, to needy families in different areas of the island.
