SOCIETY: The Be A Boss competition opens a pre-selection in Saint-Martin

Be A Boss is the leading national event for women's entrepreneurship. The opening of a pre-selection on the territory carried by the Interprofessional Consular Chamber of Saint-Martin (CCISM) will allow two candidates for the innovative project to participate in the Antilles-Guyana semi-final and to dream of the grand national final. in Paris.

With the aim of arousing entrepreneurial vocations among young ladies, helping them to remove the brakes and blockages in the realization of their project, to boost the energy and the entrepreneurial ambition without forgetting to identify the future regional and national nuggets carried by women, the Be A Boss goes back on tour and travels France to meet women entrepreneurs and project leaders: Occitania, New-Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Ile-de France, South & Antilles-Guyana, concluding with a Parisian final in September 2023. Designed to feed entrepreneurial thinking, the "Be a boss Tour” allows each year more than 1000 women with a project or already entrepreneurs to attend the forum in their region and/or to present their project locally with a view to competing for the “Be a Boss Awards”. After the pre-selection phase which will highlight two women from each overseas territory concerned, namely Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, the ten candidates selected will compete in Guadeloupe in June. 2023. Two of them will join the finalists from each region to represent the West Indies and Guyana at the national level during the Paris closing day of the 9th edition of the competition. During this closing day, and after a final three-minute pitch, the jury will select the three winners of the Be A Boss Awards 2023. Each of the three winners will benefit, among other things, from €30.000 in advertising space to be consumed at NetMedia Group (B2B) or Reworld Media (B2C). The selection criteria are as follows: be aged between 18 and 60, be a project leader or entrepreneur, founder or co-founder of the company created after January 1, 2017 and whose head office and activity location is In France. Official partner of the competition, the CCISM offers its help to transform an idea into a project, support in the preparation of the application file and coaching to master the art of pitching.
