The president, Daniel Gibbs had invited the collective to a new meeting Friday morning in the presence of some of the elected officials. After four hours of exchanges, the two parties parted after agreeing to a new meeting scheduled for this week.

Indeed, not all the many topics were discussed. Only two were mentioned: training and employment as well as the situation at the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital center.

The group was attentive to the list of actions implemented by the COM in favor of young people and job seekers in terms of training and training aid.

However, the collective noted that despite all these measures, young people from Saint-Martin could not find work in the area, even those who had graduated.

Concerning health, the president of the COM was questioned on the consequences on the functioning of the suspension of the agents in the hospital who are not vaccinated, from November 15.

As a member of the establishment's supervisory board, he was asked to seek information from management on the precise number of suspended agents and the challenges of their absences on the healthcare system.

By mutual agreement, the collective and elected officials agreed to organize other thematic working meetings. President Gibbs must return this Monday to the collective to suggest new dates.
