After a double workshop on cyclonic risk awareness given in mid-July, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs now offer carpentry sessions over two mornings, on July 27 and 29.
Always with a view to supporting the inhabitants of Saint-Martin who encounter difficulties with their housing and to help them improve their quality of life, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs have decided to put carpentry in the spotlight for this last week of July. .
Indeed, participants in these woodworking workshops will first be able to learn the basics of carpentry for novices, whether in construction but also in reconstruction and repair. They will then be able to take advantage of the wise and experienced advice of the Compagnons Bâtisseurs themselves to evolve.
New budding carpenters will perhaps make themselves known at the end of these workshops which are open to all. The first workshop will take place on Tuesday July 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the parking lot of the Jérôme Beaupère school at Sandy Ground. As for the second, it will take place on Thursday, July 29 at the Compagnons Bâtisseurs workshop located at the Residence La Palmeraie (Building 8) in Quartier d'Orléans, with the same hours, from 9 a.m. to noon. Each workshop is completely free. Wearing a mask is compulsory.
