He was also tried for possession a year earlier of 484 grams of hemp.

On the day of the incident, the merchant, driving his car, stopped to let a vehicle pass when two others blocked him. A masked individual comes down and points his gun at the trader, shouting "don't move, don't move".

Several minutes pass during which four individuals, all wearing a silicone mask, will tie the trader's hands, place him in a car, put him on the ground, hit him, put him back in a car and flee with him. .

A kidnapping alert has been issued. A car was spotted in the Cay Bay area with the victim and three individuals on board. Two managed to escape and the third (whose face was uncovered) was arrested. The weapons, silicone masks and personal effects of the jeweler were also found as well as walkie-talkies. DNA samples were taken and allowed investigators to say that the arrested man participated in the kidnapping of the jeweler.

The trial took place several months ago but the judgment was only published at the beginning of August this year. (soualigapost.com)
