After several meetings held on Sunday, the Prime Minister announced that the shops will close from Monday, March 23 at 18 p.m. and no longer at 20 p.m. in the Dutch part.

They should only open Monday to Saturday. This concerns grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations, banks, health services, hotels, restaurants, public services, public transport, DIY store, shipping and freight companies.

Silveria Jacobs reminds that in establishments open to the public, a distance of 1 to 2 meters must be respected between people and that gatherings of more than 20 people are prohibited. "If these measures are not respected, the establishment will be closed by the authorities with immediate effect," she said.

Please note that during the next two weeks, petrol stations, hotels and pharmacies will only be allowed to open on Sundays until 18 p.m.
