Following several telephone calls, the Sint Maarten police arrested last Tuesday near the South Reward high school, a student who had concealed a firearm in his backpack.
When they got there, the police met three visibly very nervous young men when the police arrived. The latter then carried out a check and discovered the handgun.
The three minor suspects with the initials JCL, SL and JL were immediately arrested by the police patrol and the weapon was confiscated.
The three teenagers were brought to the Philipsburg police station. After being interviewed by investigators, they were returned to the care of their parents. The case is still ongoing._AF
