Sint Maarten (News) / Gunshots in Pelican: traces of blood found but no victim or perpetrator (s) on the scene

Sint Maarten detectives are investigating a case of shots fired in the Pelican sector on Wednesday July 22 at dawn.

Police patrol and the Criminal Identification Service were dispatched to Ruby Drive where the gunshots were heard.

On the spot, investigators found clues indicating that several shots had been carried out. Blood was also found at the scene and samples were taken by the forensic service. An examination of the surroundings failed to find either a possible victim or the perpetrator (s).

As of today, the police still do not have a very clear view of what really happened.
