The collective prevention services (CPS) of Sint Maarten received several telephone calls concerning information circulating on social networks/WhatsApp about the XBB variant of Covid-19 which would have arrived in the Dutch part, after having affected the United States and now Australia. However, this information was not issued by the Ministry of Public Health (Ministry VSA).
SPC will continue to monitor and assess current global developments in relation to Covid-19 and will update the community regularly.
The SPC advises the public to share with friends and relatives accurate and reliable information that can only be obtained from official health and Covid-19 information sites.
