Signature of three multi-year agreements for a total amount of 315000 euros

The president of the Collectivity signed last Friday a multi-year agreement with three associations aimed at financing actions included in the 2015-2020 city contract.  The Cobraced association will receive over three years the sum of 150000 euros, Adie 105000 € and Trait d'Union 60000 €.

These agreements will allow the three partner associations to carry out structuring actions for the territory under mediation around schools, parenting assistance, academic support, the discovery of sports, cultural and leisure activities, assistance to victims or even support for project leaders.

3-year agreement:

COBRACED Association:

€ 150000 over 3 years, including € 60000 for the Library for All action (libraries in kit form available in all areas) and € 90000 for the “Symbiose” action (Support for around a hundred pupils with learning difficulties and their family, with daily care for children aged 6 to 17 during school and out-of-school periods (homework help, cultural workshops, sport, reading, art.) COBRACED is committed to supporting these children and their families and is also committed to securing and well-being of neighborhoods and creating social links.

Association Trait d'Union - France Victims:

€ 60000 over 3 years to individually support anyone in need of legal assistance, listening and guidance (help for victims of criminal offenses, fight against domestic violence, legal assistance in the 2 MSAPs, help for minors victims)

ADIE Association (Right to Economic Initiative):

€ 105000 over 3 years, to set up activities in the neighborhoods and strengthen access to employment and training through local actions, technical support and help with business creation.

Through this partnership, the community continues the actions initiated within the framework of the City Contract and to provide concrete support to the inhabitants of priority neighborhoods of the City policy (Quartier d'Orléans and Sandy-Ground) who have the most need.

President Gibbs and Vice-President Sofia Carti salute the commitment of these three associations and the agents of the Collectivity who work daily to carry out these essential actions for the cohesion and development of our island and its neighborhoods.
