Raising awareness of road safety among young people is the objective of the photography competition entitled “An image for life” launched by the Guadeloupe gendarmerie, which responded to the prefecture's call for projects. This action is part of the 2016 departmental road safety plan. This competition is open to middle and high school students from Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy and Guadeloupe: “The idea is to make each class volunteer to participate in this competition, in digital photography. ” The deadline for submissions is set for May 26, at noon. A jury will then select three images in June: the best will be published in poster format and distributed to local communities.
