The road safety awareness campaign focused on risky driving by two-wheeled users has ended and now gives way to the call for projects, the deadline for receiving applications for which is set for April 3, 2021.

In this context, the work of two students from the Lycée Professionnel des Iles du Nord on an internship at the prefecture within the communication department is being honored.

These two trainees, concerned by the high mortality rate that affects young people on motorcycles every year in the Northern Islands, wanted to convey a message relating to the importance of a word given to a loved one like a mother, by through an illustration. This given word must be respected.

According to them, this photo "appeals to the attachment of young people to their mother in order to touch them and encourage them to become aware of the danger of risky behavior".

A slogan was also mentioned: “no need to act like a fool to be cool”.

Subsequently, the two students of the Lycée Professionnel des Iles du Nord were received by the Prefect Serge Gouteyron who congratulated them for their commitment and their work.
