Security: Dutch police are stepping up roadside checks!

0

Several traffic control missions were carried out last week by police patrols. 46 vehicles were checked and 33 tickets were issued for various traffic violations.

The police authorities specify that these checks are part of the measures aimed at reducing crime and preventing traffic violations. These checks mainly concerned faults in wearing seat belts, tinted windows, as well as technical checks of vehicles and road tax.

The checks were also used as training for novice police officers, with the aim of helping them to hone their skills, while improving service to the population.

The checks were carried out under the supervision of police training instructors and senior officers.
