Thanks to the unfailing involvement of the members of Métimer and its partners including the CGET and the COM, more than 200 college students will go to sea, this Wednesday, November 28, on the occasion of Sea Discovery Day.
"The objective is to make our young people discover the sea and marine fauna, the importance of our natural resources, make them aware of the preservation of our magnificent nature, the pleasure of sailing on a catamaran, and the professions of the sea , of which there are so many, and why not create vocations ”, specifies Alexina Paya, coordinator of the Métimer Association.
After a crossing which should take place with ideal weather conditions, a rich and varied program awaits the children upon their arrival in Tintamarre.
The Saint-Martin Nature Reserve will be present to educate young students about the preservation of the ecosystems around them. Wind-Adventures members will then introduce children to nautical activities (paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming) without forgetting beach sports, football and beach volleyball).
To supervise all these beautiful people, the lifeguards at sea (SNSM) will be present to support and guarantee the safety of all participants. _AF

8h00: Gatherings at the starting points
9h00: Boarding the boats, sailing to Tintamarre
10h00: Discovery sessions on the island of Tintamarre in the company of agents from the Natural Reserve
13h00: Lunch on the beach,
14h00: Nautical activities (paddle board, kayak, snorkeling, swimming) and on the beach (beach volleyball, soccer,…)
All these activities are supervised by professionals.
