In its latest Sargassum surveillance bulletin, Nova Blue Environnement indicates that significant Sargassum rafts have been detected. "Currents like winds are rather favorable for strandings in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands", specifies the Department of the environment, development and housing (DEAL) of Guadeloupe which broadcasts Nova's online bulletins Blue. The last tropical wave has considerably reduced the possibilities of analyzing satellite images. As you know, scientists from the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography are at sea - until July 13th - to try to understand this phenomenon.
