The number of new cases of covid-19 jumped by 41% last week in Saint-Martin: Public Health France confirmed 109 new cases against 77 the week before and 75 two weeks ago. The positivity rate was 11,4%, or +2,5 points.
If visits to general practitioners for suspected acute respiratory infection fell by 73% (70 against 260), the number of emergency visits for suspected covid increased last week (7 against 5). Two hospitalizations were carried out.
One death was mourned last week. This brings to 65 the number of residents who have died from covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
Regarding vaccination, 14 people over the age of 458 received at least one dose, i.e. 12% of the population concerned.
