Health: The ARS of Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy simplifies the entry of complaints by users via a complaints portal.

As part of the deployment of its 2020 roadmap, the Regional Health Agency of Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy, has set up the entry of user complaints via an online form available on the website of the Agency: www.guadeloupe.ars.sante.fr, on the home page, in the “my services” section.

A complaint is a written request or complaint made by a user, his entourage or a group of users questioning the service provided by:

• a health establishment (hospital, clinic, etc.);

• a medico-social establishment or service (for the elderly or disabled: examples: EHPAD, MAS, etc.);

• a pharmacy ;

• a laboratory ;

• a healthcare professional (dentist, nurse, etc.);

• a medical transporter (private ambulance company).

For reports concerning adverse drug reactions and adverse events related to care, there is also a portal for reports to be preferred: https://signalement.social-sante.gouv.fr.

Thanks to this complaints portal, the user can in a few minutes transmit their complaint to the ARS, specifying the name of the structure or the health professional concerned. His claim will then be studied by the ARS services. Then an answer will be given to the user. It is therefore important that he can indicate his contact details.
