0

Since the start of the vaccination campaign on January 13, 1418 people have received their first injection and 595 their second injection.

Vaccination continues in Saint-Martin and concerns people over 70 and now people of all ages with chronic disease or obesity. Health professionals in the broad sense (caregivers of establishments and liberal, administrators of health and medico-social establishments, medical transporters, firefighters) are also invited to be vaccinated. The vaccination center, for the Pfizer Bio NTech vaccine, is still located at the Louis Constant Fleming hospital and receives appointments from Monday to Friday, in the morning and in the afternoon. As a reminder, vaccination appointments are not taken at the hospital, but according to the procedure recalled below. Vaccination, via the Astra Zeneca vaccine, continues for patients over 55, it is carried out in the city by treating physicians and pharmacists.

On Saturday March 27, a vaccination day using the MODERNA vaccine (messenger RNA equivalent to the PFIZER vaccine) was organized at the neighborhood center located in Quartier d'Orléans (near the stadium). 82 people were able to receive a first injection and are called to represent themselves, on April 24, to receive their reminder. In view of the success of this type of operation, others will be set up in other districts during the month of April. It should be remembered that vaccination will open to the entire population, on Saint-Martin, next May according to terms that will be specified very soon.
